Bentar lagi, members blog ini lulusan, jadi berhubung kami lagi sibuk mencari-cari SMA yang bagus, ter-favorite, dan terpercaya pastinya. Saya ingin membuat postingan seputar Binus High School..

The High School at BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Simprug has a proven record of success. Past graduates of BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Simprug are attending some of the most reputable universities and colleges in fifteen countries abroad and in Indonesia.
All instruction is in English.
BINUS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Simprug is an authorized IB World School.
In 2007, the school introduced the Diploma Programme (DP), which complements the PYP and MYP that are currently offered in the Elementary and Middle Schools.
The IBO has, up to this time, authorized over 1500 schools in 125 countries. Established in 1968, the DP has continued to be an examinations-based, pre-university programme.
The DP is internationally-recognized, and graduates have direct access to international universities of their choice.
The two-year international curriculum aims to provide students with values and opportunities that will enable them to develop sound judgement, make wise choices, and respect others in the global community.
All DP students take six subjects, one from each of the following groups.
Group 1 : Language A1
English A1, Indonesian A1
Group 2 : Second Languages
Chinese B, English A2, English B, Indonesian B
Group 3 : Individuals and Society
Business and Management, Economics, ITGS (Information Technology in a Global Society)
Group 4 : Experimental Sciences

Group 5 : Mathematics
Mathematics HL or SL, Mathematical Studies
Group 6 : Arts or Electives
Visual Arts subject or another subject from Groups 3 or 4
In addition to the subjects, students fulfill three core elements of the Diploma Programme. They are :

Extended Essay
Students carry out individual research and write an essay of 4,000 words. The essay gives opportunity to become familiar with the research and writing skills expected by universities.
Theory of Knowledge (TOK)
TOK involves 100 hours of teaching time. It stimulates critical thinking about knowledge gained inside the various subjects and knowledge gained outside the classroom.
Creativity, Action, and Service (CAS)
Students carry out 150 hours of CAS over the two years of the DP. Activities range across sports, the arts, technology, language learning, local and international projects, expeditions, leadership training, as well as community and social interaction.
The High School is staffed by well-qualified, highly experienced and motivated subject specialists, each of whom is well versed in the methodologies of student-centered and interactive learning. Acting as guides and facilitators, they take students through an educational program that is academically rigorous, demanding, challenging and exciting. Emphasis is given to the application and synthesis of knowledge, to advanced problem solving and critical thinking, and to the formulation and evaluation of hypotheses and opinions.
Students are encouraged to take increased responsibility for their own learning and to lead the younger students in the School by positive example in personal conduct and work habits. The academic, social, moral, physical and spiritual standards introduced at an earlier age, and refined and consolidated in the High School are essential life skills for success in post-secondary education and beyond.
